Brilliant headmaster , I can still picture you walking around the playgrounds greeting children and parents , you had a real presence , kind and softly spoken , always dressed immaculately , you were how a headmaster should be , rest in peace , Melanie maiden. { Gardiner }

I would like to send my condolences to the family of Mr Paul Knight, a great man and a headmaster for whom I shall never lose respect. Mark Smith, a pupil at MSPS 1981-1987.

Mr Knight - As a young lad of 6, coming on 7, I started your school after moving down from more Northerly climes. ELO were riding high on the coattails of Mr Blue Sky at the time. Everytime I hear it, and the line "Mr Blue you did it right, but soon comes Mr (K)Night, creeping over - now his hand is on your shoulder" I raise a smile and always, always think of you. Thank you for being, the best headmaster, founder of your school (which we all have extremely nice memories and thoughts of), and decent human being. Your loss is a loss to us all, but my best wishes go to your family at this very sad time. You were, along with the people, well friends that you recruited and who taught us, well we could never have asked for anything better. Thank you RIP Paul
